I bought this drill because my 12-volt Black & Decker cordless drill/driver needed a battery replacement which would have cost about $25-$30. I had no issues with the B&D but wanted to get something that was more compact with better battery life and since I had to purchase a battery anyway I thought I may as well go for something new. I did expect any of the tools to be very useful but hoped the drill would at least be good. I was pleasantly surprised to find the drill was very powerful and could easily drive 3 inch screws into 2x4s. The circular saw and the reciprocating saw are only useful for cutting thin material but the reciprocating saw was perfect for finishing out some bird mouth cut in 2x6s and both tools are handy. ...more
