I've been using my Death Stick for six years now (not a professional carpenter but fairly frequent handyman projects) and have had nothing but an amazing experience. Very rarely will I bend a nail and the face has never chipped on me. For pulling nails, I simply use my cats paw or pry bar. I've had two problems over the years: once a friend took it for a week to finish his work because he liked it so much. So well ballanced, that at 24 oz. it feels lighter than most 22s or 23s out there, which saves a lot on your arms at the end of the day. The milled face is cast-in, rather than cut-in, which makes it far more durable than a Fat Max or a Vaughan. The only downsides are that the face is smaller than most others, and that the bevels at the end arent as sharp as a Vaughan, neither is a big deal when you're nailing, but it's a different matter if you're plating.
