I've met several of the women featured in this book: Caroline Munro, Madeline Smith, Martine Beswicke, the late, wonderful Hazel Court and my favorite, Ingrid Pitt. It was so nice reading about them here as well as so many others. Hammer, the well known British film studio, was known for it's horror films, but also for never failing to have one or more beautiful women in the cast. Their mix of sexiness and blood was one that would be often imitated but never duplicated. This book really does justice to the many known and unknown actresses of Hammer. The book is a large format and full color throughout so the photos really shine with almost all the women recieving at least one full page photo.
